Purpose:

Create brand awareness/capitalize on strength of the national brand (of breads) for a minor product line (instant soups).

Concept:

Gourmet pastries using special type of yeast (imported from Italy). The product was sold to teenage school commuters via convenience stores. "Zany ads for a radical departure in pastries".

Copy:

"Piccolina: pastries strike back!"

Results:

Winner of Kinki Radio Advertising Award. Established Pasco as a fashionable imported vaguely European brand.
